Music room being renovated
I decided to improve the sound absorption environment in my music room by getting my first monitor speakers this month.
At first I looked around for sound-absorbing materials on the market, but they were either sold out or did not meet my design preferences.
I wanted something that would absorb sound, not soundproof it, and that would work with the color of the chromakey.
If I couldn’t find what I wanted, I would just have to make it!
I set about DIY.
I had some unexpected miscalculations in the process of actually making it, but I’m glad I did, because the functionality is not a problem. Now I’ll lay the sound-absorbing materials on top of each other and place them in the four corners of the music room.
Other things I need to make are shelves for storage above the upright piano, earthquake protection for the speakers, and to organize the wiring for the effectors.
I hope the new environment will lubricate my abilities.
I can’t wait to play and create music in the finished environment!
I hope you are all looking forward to it.
Thank you very much.
